Damian plans on a very busy 2024 with scheduled album releases and concert announcements. Professionally, he composes and records original songs in a myriad of styles including acoustic and electric blues, indie-rock, and classic LP.  First and foremost he is a songwriter. In 2024 Damian plans to release the long awaited Maui in the Sun album that feature songs he wrote with his Father Peter Knapp.  In 2020 he released his all original blues album Decay in our Cities.

Commercially, he is a musical chameleon. He genre hops between Blues, Country, Jazz, A-Z Classic Rock, New Rock, and 80's/90's hits so as to be able to accommodate any audience he may find himself entertaining. Currently, Damian is booking dates for four different bands: Mystic HWY Doors Tribute, Damian Knapp Blues Band, The Damian Knapp 3 and his tribute to 1950's Rock and Roll, Rockabilly and Surf.
